Episodes 54 of The Vendor's Daughter
Leslie was working as a teacher when her and her husband began the process of adopting their two children.
As the adoption process continued and having two babies at home became a full-time responsibility it was becoming apparent that something had to give.
Leslie quit her job teaching full-time and began home schooling part-time for a local family. That lasted a year and as that job was coming to a close, Leslie started looking for something to feed her creative side.
She was in a thrift store when she found an old dresser, with good bones and good brass (she was all about that brass long before it became en vogue). She took it home, learned how to paint furniture and then put it on Craigslist. The response was overwhelming (in the good way) and Vintage Fresh Design Co was born.
